Is the Wii from the devil?

Day 16 of my 40 Day Journey
Readings in Psalms 16, 46, 76, 106, 136, Proverbs 16
8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Good morning Lord, I can’t seem to focus on you the last 24 hrs, partially because of exhaustion. I’m come to realize that sleep and rest are so influential in all realationships, especially the one with you. My real sin is not going to be on time to get the rest I need to be ready to meet you in the morning. That Wii golf game is from the devil, ha, ha. I love competition too much, love beating Steven but I have to get to bed earlier. I want to have my heart set on you like David. I don’t want to be shaken by anything in this world, especially the evil golf game.
I love Psalm 46. 10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Okay Oscar, shut up dude. . . just stop and medidate of the most important truth here, “You are not god, the Lord is God.” This weekend I will finally get some quiet, Lord I hope to meet with you out in the beautiful ranch, please meet with me.
Psalm 76 – “You alone are to be feared.” So if we fear certain people, are we committing idolatry? When we try to please others out of fear, are we not bowing down to them? My opinion is that in some way, I have. I heart has beaten really fast out of fear of man. Move me more to a place of courageous living, move me to love people but only fear you Lord. Many church leaders have been stuck leading by fear of others rather than fearing Him and leading others.
Both Psalms 106 and 136 give a great history of God’s work and Israel’s rebellion, of His salvation of a stubborn people. I love this verse 136:23, “to the One who remembered us in our low estate, His love endures forever.”
Proverbs 16:3 3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
7 When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. 8 Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.
Lord, I feel pressure and divided with my time and attention. Help me succeed in pleasing you, being a good father and husband. Guide me to lead your people.
