Day 19 How deep does God know us?

Day 19 Readings Psalm 19, 49, 79, 109, 139 Proverbs 19
7 The law of the LORD is perfect reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the LORD are right giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.
15 But God will redeem my life [f] from the grave; he will surely take me to himself 16 Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases;
17 for he will take nothing with him when he die, his splendor will not descend with him.
18 Though while he lived he counted himself blessed—and men praise you when you prosper- 19 he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of life. 20 A man who has riches without understanding
is like the beasts that perish.
Again the Psalmist reminds us of what is important, “purity”, “humility” and “fear of the Lord”. Riches should not be envied, a rich man will only live a short time and not take those riches with him. That is good stuff, I need to be reminded what true riches are all about. I was reminded of this yesterday as I watched a short part of Mr. Holland’s Opus. A man that had invested in thousands of young people for over 30 years and at the end, they gave testimony to the difference he made. His life was not wasted in the development of young people. May our life, our work and ambition be to be rich with God by investing in others.
Psalm 139 is very popular a favorite of many. I don’t have the ability to go through verse by verse so I recommend that all read it carefully.
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
God knows us intimately . . . we are woven by Him from the day of conception. It delights me to know that I am known. I am loved. I am His.
